With over 25 years of progressive work, Romona has exemplary leadership credentials and has been recognized as a Top Career Advisor in the industry. Currently, Romona is President of R. C. Consulting-LLC, an executive coaching firm specializing in working with Level C executives in:
  • vocational and career assessments
  • strategic entrepreneurial coaching
  • career transition, and
  • building executive presentation packages with online e-career portfolios to augment the competitive marketplace.

She has been the Executive Coach for the Kelley School of Business Career Moves conference, and is consistently sought out to present at The National Society of Hispanic MBA conference on executive career coaching topics.

Romona has been writing resumes for executives and middle level management across multiple industries and is a Certified Professional Resume Writer, CPRW.

She also holds national webinars for ExecuNet. ExecuNet founded in 1988, has helped thousands of chief executive officers and vice presidents, succeed.

For over six years, as Area Director and Senior Executive Consultant, Romona designed and developed a curriculum that served Senior Executive clients, for R. L. Stevens and Associates, Inc., a 27-year-old career marketing firm out of Boston, MA. Romona led a seasoned team through a two-year process, designed and developed a unique senior executive services program including the online portfolio. She oversaw the Chicago, IL office and was the primary senior executive consultant who successfully guided and held training sessions for executives. Romona gained both national recognition and increased the program’s success by 50%.

Previously, as Senior Advisor for Bernard Haldane Associates, a 60-year-old career management firm out of New York, NY, she was consistently, over five years, the recipient of quarterly and annual awards and including:

  • “Recognition of Outstanding Levels of Service and Commitment”;
  • “Outstanding Contribution to the Community”;
  • “Guiding Clients to Successful Careers and Maintaining the High Standards Established by Bernard Haldane”;

  • Director of Marketing for Home Services Unlimited (home health care)
  • Associate with Trustee Leadership Development, funded by Lilly Endowment (serving Fortune 100 board of directors)
  • Consultant/Director for the Indiana Department of Education (Gifted and Talented Education) building teams with 220 school corporations, five Model Sites, and nine Education Service Centers to improve business, marketing, and budget plans; overseeing operating budget of $6.1M.

Leadership on a larger scale includes: the state representative for Future Problem Solving, Odyssey of the Mind, World Odyssey of the Mind, Creative Problem Solving, National Association of Conflict Resolution, the National Association of Gifted and Talented Education, and Law-Related Education. She has been the quantitative and qualitative naturalistic evaluator for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and subcontracted with The Smithsonian Institute, (Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service) in Washington, D.C.
